One of the best Anime directors Satoshi kon passed away August 24th, 2010 battling pancreatic cancer.
For those of you who don't know him, he is responsible for some of the best Japanese animation around from Perfect Blue, Tokyo Godfathers, Millennium Actress, Paranoia Agent and Paprika.
Kon also worked as animator on Roujin Z
He was working on a new film called The Dream Machine, which was to be released next year.
